Each entry must map at least three conditions, each from a different main category, as well as propose a design for a Gowanus Urban Field Station. A grouping of submissions that each map at least three unique conditions and collectively design one Field Station is also welcome (for example, a group submission of five entries will map fifteen different conditions). A graphic description of how the mapping information will be presented at the Field Station is required.
This competition is a digital PDF submission: one 24" x 36" layout, landscape format at 72 dpi. File names must use the four-digit ID number provided to each entrant upon registration (i.e. 1234.pdf). Entries should use min 12-point font. Maximum file size for upload is 10MB. There are no specific representational requirements, only that the graphics support the proposal. A Site/Location plan is strongly encouraged. All plans should be oriented with North pointing up.
To submit, files should be uploaded on the Upload Entries page. Aside from the four-digit file number, no other identifying marks or labels should appear on the submission. After the winners have been announced they will be available for viewing on the competition website.
