Submission Requirements

This competition is a digital submission. Submissions must be uploaded to the competition website by 11:59 EST: Monday, Jan 7th, 2013. Submission Requirements: one 24" x 36" layout, landscape format at 72 dpi, PDF. Name your file as your four digit ID number ie: 1234.pdf  Entries should use min 12 point font.  Maximum file size for upload is 10MB. There are no specific representational requirements, only that the graphics support your proposal. A Site/Location plan is strongly encouraged.  All plans should be oriented with North pointing up.

To Submit

Upload your board on the Upload Entry Page. Your board should be named as your four digit ID number. No other identifying marks or labels should appear on the submission. After the winners have been announced all entries will be available for viewing on the competition website.

Eligibility

All individuals and team members must be ages 18 and over. Teams are encouraged and the committee also encourages the participation of at least one design professional on each team. GbD retains the right to automatically disqualify any submission received after Jan 7th, 2013. Registrants must conform to the above submission requirements; any discrepancies to said requirements are subject to automatic disqualification. All submitted materials become the property of Gowanus by Design; however, the design copyrights remain with the submitting individuals/team members. GbD, its members, and all other parties related to this competition are not responsible for lost submissions or digital delays. Winners and those chosen for exhibition may be asked to submit a brief written description of their entries. This will be required prior to the exhibition in Spring 2013.  All student entries selected for the exhibit will require verification that each team member is a student.
